Donations benefit National Federation of the Blind. A current financial statement for the National Federation of the Blind is available by request at 1800 Johnson Street, Baltimore, MD 21230 or by phone 410-659-9314 or from the Secretary of State (for the cost of copies and postage).
GreenDrop® donation centers have been placed in your community to make donating used clothing and household items to one of our local nonprofit partners easy, convenient, and eco-friendly.
The Essex GreenDrop® located in Essex, MD is open daily to accept drop offs of clothing, shoes, kitchenware, books, toys, bedding and bath, and other household items you no longer need. All donated items should be packed into bags or boxes and weigh 50 pounds or less (an amount attendants can safely lift.) Unfortunately, we cannot accept tube TVs or tube computer monitors.
Simply drive up to a donation location near you where you will be greeted by a GreenDrop® attendant who will ensure your experience is fast and convenient. Our friendly attendant will collect your items on behalf of our local nonprofit partner, National Federation of the Blind. After you visit the Essex GreenDrop®, you can download a tax receipt for your records.
GreenDrop® then purchases your donations from National Federation of the Blind, providing critical funding for their mission. Your pre-owned goods are then given a second chance to be loved again in local thrift stores. Together, we help protect the planet and keep millions of reusable items out of landfills. Thank you for your support!
GreenDrop® is a for-profit company and registered professional fundraiser where required. Read disclosures.
