TVI, Inc. d/b/a GreenDrop is a for-profit paid solicitor accepting donations of secondhand clothing and household goods on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska Donation Center of 2207 East Tudor Road, Space 39, Anchorage, AK 99507, whose mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. A copy of the financial statement of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska Donation Center and a copy of the contract will be provided upon request, by contacting the Alaska Attorney General’s Office at 907-465-3600.
GreenDrop® donation centers have been placed in your community to make donating used clothing and household items to one of our local nonprofit partners easy, convenient, and eco-friendly.
The 88th Avenue Walgreens GreenDrop® located in Anchorage, AK is open daily to accept drop offs of clothing, shoes, kitchenware, books, toys, bedding and bath, and other household items you no longer need. All donated items should be packed into bags or boxes and weigh 50 pounds or less (an amount attendants can safely lift.) Unfortunately, we cannot accept tube TVs or tube computer monitors.
Simply drive up to a donation location near you where you will be greeted by a GreenDrop® attendant who will ensure your experience is fast and convenient. Our friendly attendant will collect your items on behalf of our local nonprofit partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska. After you visit the 88th Avenue Walgreens GreenDrop®, you can download a tax receipt for your records.
GreenDrop® then purchases your donations from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, providing critical funding for their mission. Your pre-owned goods are then given a second chance to be loved again in local thrift stores. Together, we help protect the planet and keep millions of reusable items out of landfills.
